Very varied release that ranges from well-known territories to uncharted ones. Mystical Acidity in the ambientish "Space Pig", a distant cousin of some of the pieces on the Caverna Magica EP and breakbeaty action for "Crimcaster" for a starter. The latter is not too exciting, as not much seems to happen. Pity. Fernando goes trance in "Floating", the avoidable track. He has done better than that on Music Man and even on Important. Why was this pressed at all? Four tracks were enough to make a record, surely? "Da Big One" is perhaps the most popular track of the EP: very good humid Acid techno from the rain forest. Tribal? Yes indeed. "Ppsycho" is the attention grabber, however: absurd, high-pitched frequencies, round kickdrum that distortion makes sound organic, an Acidline that strips the paint off the walls and a generally wacky programming, those are the ingredients of the hardest Dr. Fernando! track. Crazy.
