A nice 12" that's worth laying a few quid out for if your down with all things Rubberfunk. The title track 'Watch The Tables Turn' is a kind of breaky, come scratchy, vocal affair which would tie in resonably well with a number of different genres (Breaks, Hip Hop etc). It kind of loses its way a little in the last minute or two when a rather irritating popping noise kicks in for no apparent reason, which kind of unsettles the over all balance of the track a little, but that's being picky and it's otherwise ok.
The flip contains 'Live Wired' which is my preferred choice here. It's a straight up instrumental track, which uses a really cool slide guitar for the main strokes, strokes that give it a really nice bluegrass kind of feel but not so that it wouldn't sit nicely in a House or Broken Beat set. Good wax.
