This is probably the best archive to have of Dr. Macabre. On these 3 cds a lot of tracks are included that were released under another producer name, so if you didn't know Dr. Macabre was behind it, you will know now...

Every cd has its own style. On the first cd you can find mainly great hardcore stompers and tracks that are well known such as 'French Connection', 'Poltergeist' and 'Gates Of Hell'. The last track is a bit more experimental and is probably a track to change over from 4x4 hardcore to more experimental tracks.

cd2 features a mixture of slower and faster hardcore tracks including a few collabroations with Rotterdam Terror Corps, experimental tracks and funny tracks like 'Somebody Get Me A Kleenex' and 'Appelflap'. In 'Hiroshima'it takes some time for the Bassline to drop, but when it does it does drop like a atom bomb!

If you got through all of these tracks, then cd3 still awaits you. What a great cd to close off this compilation. As you go from track 1 to track 10, tracks start to get harder and harder. The first two trcks are more idm/dark ambient tracks than hardcore, but slowly but surely we get to track 10 where Dr. Macabre has let loose all his anger and put it in one track with so many bassdrums you cannot believe it!

This 3cd pack has so many good tracks that I even couldn't give you a list with the best tracks, I would probably have to copy the tracklist...
