Nothing could be further from the truth. This is a unique and great track.
Opening with a standard kick and clap, Schwartz soon adds a swishy high-hat, before building to a crescendo, and WHOMP, the massive bass line hits you over the head and leaves your senses reeling.
Accompanying this boompty bass is that high-pitched "drill" noise, which, rather than annoy, entrances.
The main melody is one of those rare hypnotic ones where it's hard to pick where it begins and ends, and you just end up becoming, well, lost.
Admittedly the second half of the song loses this hypnosis effect somewhat, but for a good few minutes, this song is incredible.
