They scored a major hit worldwide with the opening track Let's Groove and delivered one of the most funkiest albums ever with Raise!
Tracks like Lady Sun, Evolution Orange, You Are A Winner, I've Had Enough and Changing Times are all funkin' hard leaving room for just 1 ballad: Wanna Be With You.
A great one if I might say so.
Overall taken the album is filled with awesome musicianship, extremely strong vocals and the arrangements are ridiculously good.
I realise some people might be prejudiced because they maybe heard a song like Boogie Wonderland first, but don't hate on this group for that for that is just one song, one facet of the band: listen to this album and get a sense of what Earh, Wind and Fire is really about.
