This cd set a whole new standard in free cds in the uk, up until this point they had always been very poor, and usually computer 'mixed'. Then along came Eddie, it's a great mix, full on energy right from the outset and moves forward continually, ending on a nice bit of scratching over 'The Dawn'.

I read that the orginal mix Eddie supplied for this CD was lost at the last minute and he had to whack this mix out at very short notice to reach the manufacturing deadline for the CD, so that might explain the slightly misleading "Funky Hard House Scratch Mix" tag on the cover?

In response to the previous review, there was a mix up with the original mix he provided getting lost and he had to another mix at the last minute to get the CD pressed in time for the magazine release - hence the slightly misleading description on the CD! I remember this was explained either in the CD cover or the magazine itself. Thankfuly this mix saw the light of day cos of a mix up behind the scenes!

Not the best of descriptions, I wonder weather the person who wrote it was listening to a different CD? It only really includes one Hard House track and I really fail to hear any funkiness at all in it?
