The description refers to this CD as "Glitch, Modern Classical, Ambient", and yes, that's what it is. What you cannot discern is how beautiful it is. The Erik Satie-style piano fills are what makes this recording special. I have not heard any thing quite like it, so it's very fresh sounding and innovative. The glitchy, minimal techno parts are very Basic Channel/Gas. The deep, dubby basslines add an extra level of depth. This is up there with the new Pantha Du Prince and Yvat CDs as my favorites so far in 2007.
