IMO this is probably the only one remix album I know which is better than original one. "Ende Neu" was big disappointment after great "Tabula Rasa" - although it had some good moments as "The Garden" or "NNNAAAMMM", in the whole it was just boring piece of crap and falled short with fan's expectations. But invited guests (such known as Barry Adamson, Alec Empire or Panasonic) gives those songs new life - well, at least most of them. Highlights for me are Jon Spencer's version of titled song (which is simply great, almost dance track), "Installation No. 1" by Barry Adamson, which is almost new song based on the original, as-always-great finnish duo - Panasonic with their minimal-noise instrumental sound vision of "NNNNAAAMMM" and Darkus' version of the same song (but the longer "Trilogy" remix on 12" is even better). The least interesting are Panacea (boring tech-step - who invited him here?!) and unfortunatelly Alec Empire track - don't get me wrong, it's not bad remix, but Alec didn't work hard on this one. The rest is not bad, but also not great - I'm personally most disappointed by Techno Animals' contribution - another boring breakbeat track, which simply hasn't got anything erapturing like based on the same idea Jon Spencer remix.
Summing it's a good album, but it could be better. Simply.
