"Channel Deluxe" is a top track. I normally don't play this fast, but when you want to take your set to around 136BPM, this is a SOLID record.
Nice, hard techno (without being too grating) underpinned with melodic atmospheric textures. I'm going to experiment and pitch it down -12% (I own Numark TT-X1's). I bet it'll sound similar to early Basic Channel.
Since there are so many copies for sale right now, you can get this for a real bargain.

Channel Deluxe is one of the most fantastic techno tracks I've ever heard. When I bought it in 2001 I was mainly collecting DnB and old 'Ardkore but this track was so nice I just had to get it. Now in 2006 I find myself listening and buying techno like this more and more, possibly because of this release. As for the track itself its full of dubby sounds, tight 4/4 beats, and the main melody has the reverb turned all the way up to 11! The melody is catchy, happy, and almost like a time machine back to 1992. Its certainly as good as if not better then anything DnB producer Digital was doing at the time. 5 years latter this Electric Envoy release still sounds fresh to my ears. The other two tracks, Notorious Mover and Physical Workout are solid peices of techno but Channel Deluxe is the reason to get this 12"
