What to make of this "Hardcore" EP? Well, it took me a couple listens to get use to it but I went in listening to it know that it was a "humorous" project. The beats are great on tracks like "Whitest Tightest" and "Deep As Dark". "Deep As Dark" and the remix are great deep-bass hardcore tracks and I find myself listening to those two more than the A side. However, the track "Electronic Pig" I have mixed feelings over. I just love the first 3 minutes but then it gets into this almost "Rock'n Roll" sound with guitar samples...hey, wtf? It's different but not what I expected from this awesome label! The interludes and other useless tracks on here are simple skips, if you've bothered to download them. Pretty much only 4 tracks worth listening to on here, if you can get past the "humor".

At the end of both sides sebastian and lenny talk about sending in a release to third movement, and getting the label chief on the phone while playing their record very loud in the background (so he can hear it). There's a lot of other silly things they talk about, like "fuck dj promo, what the fuck is this dj promo anyway". Funny stuff (oh yeah, and a great record too) :=)

For the open-minded listener this is a revelation! Lenny and Promo hit it off and swing easily between crossover-trash, fake-EBM, sick humour and booming beats vs. psychotic noise attacks. Luvit!
