Second release from the "Not-so-serious" project Electronic Pig. I find this one more listenable and has better production than thier first release. But it plays more as a single than an EP. "IM Electronic" is a strong track with hard beats, a great siren type loop, and some good angst lyrics! The "Closet Mix" is simply an edit version and the remix is great as well. The B side isn't to bad. "The Dark Place" is another deep-bass hardcore track, much like the one that appeared on the last album. "Parasites Attack" doesn't seem to fit on the album as it's got a lot more drum'n bass feel to it with high tempo. Yeah, don't bother playing the last two either...filler! Overall this release isn't too bad and it does want me wondering what's next with this project.

Just like the first Piggy record announced, this is something for the open-minded listener, harking back in various traditions of Industrial music (that's NOT the confined genre that is modern "Industrial Hardcore").
If you search for dancefloor (hardcore) beats in a functional mixdown, this is definitely not for you. This is leftfield, genre-defying and massive punk attitude, sticking the middle finger right up your face.
The production is tighter than on IM005 and the enjoyment is even bigger - for me it sure is!
