In the mix is bpitch control head honcho Ellen Allien. The seamless beauty of this mix is especially apparent in her deft mixing of her label's own plates. Particularly spectacular are the mixes between Ellen's own 'Bang Bang' and Modeselektor's 'Rave Anthem' into Apparat's 'Cheap Thrills.' Brilliant Stuff. 5/5

Just like last time, Kokon designed the album cover. That by itself is a reason for wanting the original album! A nice piece of art work which really goes with Ellen’s style: Not something you see/here everyday.

Just before recording the album Ellen Allien made a fine statement: “I love techno! Club me, I club you! Dance with me, break with me, rock with me in the end techno is my only friend. Dream girl, dream boy”. I won’t be the only one who will repeat this quote; the statement doesn’t make sense, is laughing but very effective. Just like her dj-sets, her mixing skills are sometimes hard to follow but do their job on the dance floor and even better through your headset.
