This album could have been a major improvement for Enigma, but in general, it does not succeed. Michael Cretu is still hooked on the same lascious beats from his first album, more than 15 years ago. The first single, "Voyageur", was very promising with his deep bassline and the return to the french vocals. It's the best track on the album. But soon, we realize Cretu won't take us any further than that. Sure, Andru Donalds have a great voice ("In The Shadow, In The Light" might be my 2nd favorite track and could have been a potential single), but it doesn't save the over repeated concept to fall a bit flat at the end.
