Reviews & Discussion

Review by Project_One_DJ_Team Nov 27, 2006 (edited over 3 years ago)
Compared to their previous track, this release blows. Whereas 'Who's The Starter' was an energetic pumpin big room hard trance tune, this one is a kind of housy trance that I absolutely dislike with every fibre of my body.

The vocals make the track cheezy, as well as the tempo that is way below 140 bpm. I like progressive trance but this one I wouldnt even call a trance track.

It leaves me one positive comment: the mixdown of this record is absolutely sublime.

OK, so now it seems Deep Dish's "Say Hello" has started a trend of plundering the underground scene. This is another Hungry Lucy/Claire Voyant/Collide style track - dark All About Eve-esque vocals, toned down trance underpinned with a vaguely darkwave sound. Once again, I'd recommend trying out the afore-mentioned bands who've been doing this a lot better for longer.

The Original has a melody that wants to tear you open, a pumpin' rhythm and to top it all: beautiful vocals...
Dogzilla's Pure Filth is a bit slower & darker, restless track; this is the buildup as the Original is the climax

I love this record!
