Trans4mator is done by only using a Vestax DJ mixer, TR 909, MC 202 and a Boss SE 50 Multi-FX. This track is inspired by african voodoo drumming.
I don't know what to make of this record. It's better than most schwag I hear these days but it's still kind of a tool as far as classic techno releases are concerned. That is, the tracks are not nicely composed works of art and kind of run on too long. But I'm up against a lot of public opinion that likes the run-on type of techno. I consider these "tools", a lot of people consider this the kind of techno they want to hear. One thing going for it is its uniqueness and sensibility for a different taste. These are not standard fare. I still own it because it is unique, but I wouldn't consider these "masterpieces" by any stroke of the word. See what you think...
