Whatever went wrong between "You Can Be Special, Too" and "They Live!", it's not the music itself. Evil Nine's tracks still rock the floor despite clinging to their usual formula. What ruins most of the tracks on this album are the various guest vocalists who distract from the Evil's goods. There also is a digital-only bonus release including DJ edits and, most important, instrumental versions, though that means that you have to pay even more money just to fix the album into an half-way enjoyable state.
