False - River Camping

Tanning Booths is the best track on this album for me. Definitely worth the $6.99 I spent to obtain it. River Camping and Falling Away are a bit more obtuse than Tanning Booth so I didnt gravitate towards them as much during my first few listens. Tanning Booth starts out with a hard kick and some sharp wooden percussion. PERFECT for getting everyone jacking on the dancefloor early on in the night. About midway through the track things calm down, and out of nowhere this ghostly, almost halloween-ish bassline comes in and just kills you with this throbbing low frequency. Overall, a sik sik record here.

This new 12 from mr dear has opened my ears to what was coming a stale sound and in some way give me hope it can still be fresh.The main probelm with the release is that if you buy on download you get two extra tracks "Tiger Scratch" & "Lines" which are alot better than the 3 tracks on the 12 in my opnion.Tiger Scratch is a 4am trip out waker which rolls along sucking you in till it all strips down to just bare detroit influence.
Lines is along the same lines but even deeper and a little more housey.No faults with the 3 tracks on plastic they just to me dont meet to the extra tracks on download.
