referencing All In The Place, 12", RH-DC1

Ah, much better! A delicious concoction of reverb-spiked funky breaks and garage-influenced house crossed with dub-step and electro. After the hook-bereft "Prefuse does dub-step" of Bravery, this far more melodic spacey house 4-tracker is a welcome return to form for Drew. All In The Place, St. Marks and Groove go for shuffled 4/4 goodness, but Discoko is a funky downbeat piece with a squelchy bassline underneath some soft pads, and occasional, delightful, bright synth riffs. Groove is possibly the best number, its rising/falling bassline underneath more shuffled garage-esque percussion is immediately danceable, but not forgettable: FM strains and mini-synth-solos weave around all over the place.

Recommended if you gots 'dem minimah blues.

Editing postscript 12-04-2010: having described the music accurately, I can only assume it is tasteless, deaf cretins who are hitting the disagree button.
