What a nice surprise. A boxset of Fancy's first five albums, actually packaged for collcetors. Fine remastering, bonus tracks and nice mini LP sleeves inside plus a decent booklet.
A shame it is seemingly impossible to release such an item on Fancy's home market, Germany. As dance music is much more highly regarded in the eastern countries, Poland comes to the rescue.
So if you are a dance music collector, this is one to buy. If you know one or the other Fancy song, take one of the dozens of available compilations - listening through all five albums is hard, as the Fancy trademark eurodisco sound is carried through all five, and that's a bit tiring.
For the collector, the 12" version of "Raving Queen" is on the plus side. The omission of the Slice Remix of "Slice Me Nice" is hard to understand.
