I was literally blown away by the complexity & the aggression of the programming. The layering & orchestration
of "Stealing & Sabotage" echo's influences of Stravinsky
doing Drum & Bass.
The "no stable meter" approach to a form of music which is
often criticized as metronomic is quite refreshing, as is
the contrapuntal voiceleading approach to african percussion in "Flies"
This can not be dismissed as mere noise, as it is not
based around any formal or traditional structures whatsoever. Quite simply terrific!
