Farley and Heller complete the Late Night Sessions saga and like finales should, continues the theme and goes out with the best. This compilation takes you on a journey and Francois K's classic track is definately at home here. In fact, the first disc has plenty of timeless house music-Dubtribe's 'Equitorial' always gets you jammin', King Britt's 'Scuba' gives you a rest, the Good Rev.'s 'Faith' pleasantly sneaks up on you after a moody 'Restless Nights'. It's always good to end a mix on an upbeat vibe and Alton Miller's 'Sweet In The Morning' is just that. Disc two gets immediately into the groove with 'Organ Nights' and doesn't let up. Although now played to death and consequently out of fashion, Blue Six's 'Music and Wine' is still for mine Naked Music's crowning glory and it fit's in well here. Nick Holder produces two tracks here-'Singin' Da Blues' and 'Paradise'-both are brilliant. 'Float' does just that until 'Going Away' and 'Flower' put you in a trancelike state ready for David Alverado's 'Ascension'. 'From Nowhere With Love' brings you back down to earth to finish with some beautiful vocals on 'Baghdad Cafe' and Mutiny's 'Bliss'. Music aside, there's text in the sleeve notes about fashionable places to hang around the U.K. Not much use now, but would give people an interesting insight into club life at the turn of the century. 5/5

A sublimely mixed, wonderfully compiled deep house mix which focuses on that Late Night post-club feeling. Terry Farley & Pete Heller truly capture the Deep House sounds from all corners of the world. One of my treasures.
Highlights are: 'Paradise' by Nick Holder, 'Float' by Sandy Rivera, 'Ascension' by David Alvarado, 'Music & Wine' by Blue 6, but there really are so many, not a duff one here.See if you can still track this down...Recline to the Divine!

Legendary double mix CD from Farley & Heller. A good selection of soft, mellow house grooves put together impeccably, this CD remains one of the best in my collection. What a shame it is that this was the last in the old series as the Late Night Sessions of 2003 is nowhere near the same quality,

The third and final installment of the Late Night Sessions from the Ministry of Sound may be their best. Skillful, deft mixing by Terry Farley and Pete Heller brew the perfect tonic for late night pangs and early morning blues. Like being inside your thought process, they know exactly what tune to pluck and where to nestle said song so all the wild beast are tame by dawn. The Good Reverend Dr. Gary Henry, Alton Miller, Scott Grooves, King Britt, Sandy Rivera, Nick Holder, Mutiny, Fresh & Low, and Blue Six lay down the softest pavement for easy landing. Success rate of recovery – 100%. Operations this smooth and sublime don’t come by very often. If a copy of this double disc is ever in your reach, nab it without hesitation. You can thank me later.
