Fat Jon the Ample Soul Physician firmly sets his foot in the annals instrumental hip-hop with his album WAVE MOTION. “Feel the Void” is swooningly romantic music for midnights and starry skies, while “Visual Music” becomes the soundtrack for a dream. For those craving something a bit more upbeat, “Watch Out” fits the bill, filled with compelling strings and thick beats. “Eyes” returns us to a quiet place with subdued jazz, and “Wet Secrets” increases the thumps and samples. There’s a pure simplicity to these tracks—that’s not a bad thing. It simply means that they don’t have any unnecessary additives.
