Reviews & Discussion
'Right Of Way' is a significant and, despite being a major fan of many of his trance productions, welcome change of direction musically by Ferry Corsten. Whilst productions such as ‘Punk’, ‘Holding On’ and the title track are indicative of Ferry’s versatility and natural talent as a producer, it is perhaps ironic that my favourite tracks from this album are those with Ferry’s “usual” synth-driven trance sound, notably opener ‘Sublime’ (co-produced by The Thrillseekers’ Steve Helstrip) and the wonderful ‘Kyoto’. Regardless of whether or not you have reservations about Ferry’s experimentation with different genres, this album is more than worth a thorough listen.
