"Rubb It In" by FRD featured on the Floorfiller EP (Lower East Side records), originally released in 1990, if compared with the REACT "original mix" release, it is much louder and beefier. The 1990 release is much better produced than 1991 release in IMO.

N.B Floorfiller Ep version also featured on Reactivate 2-Phasers On Full, Belgian Techno Anthems (released in 1991).

Now this is rather interesting, as I didn't even know it existed until I saw this record.

The weird thing is that I've actually heard the 'Absolute Modulation' mix out back when I was a young whippersnapper, but never knew what it was, or that it was a remix of 'Rubb It In'

Bloody awesome - that's all I can say about that mix, propably the best remix of any track I have heard, it's quite different to the original - true Techno, it doesn't get much better than this.

If you happen to find this record kicking around, just get it - you wont regret it.

The notes refer to the white label, as the copy I own DOES have info on the label, with the label logo and everything. This will propably be the version that you see, should you be fortunate enough to see/get one.

The FRD Subtopia mix is very good, being a "hardcore" version of the title track. It's basically a stripped down version with a BIG 909 kickdrum and hard processing on the Stab - Excellent.

All up, the original is still the best though, bringing back fond memories to those who were lucky enough to have heard this track out, back in the day in '91 :)
