System was produced by Torsten Fenslau, who was a Famous DJ at Dorian Gray Club at that time in Frankfurt/Main. In 1989, when this record was released, he created a Dance Project called "Culture Beat". The Rest is, as they say, History. Torsten Fenslau died after the Release of Culture Beat Hit "Got to get it" in a Car Crash. His "early" works include some great Electronic Trax, like the Ones under the Project Name "Out of the Ordinary". In 1994 there was a cool 2-CD-Release called "The Dream - The Best of Torsten Fenslau". ZYX records is located in Germany. The Record Firm is still active. They have the rights to mostly every important Italo Dance Track (for the German Market) of the 80s and took over soome licences from the dead BCM Label. At the End of the 80s they released a lot of good Electronic Stuff that helped launch of the Breakthrough of Techno. If you like this one check out the 1991 Release "Tyrell Corp.-Running (My favourite is the Original-Remix-Version)", also produced by Torsten Fenslau.

It is noted, with a question mark, what country this was released in. I am almost positive that ZYX was in Germany. This was one of those early techno tracks that started to change the dance community in a big way. Before techno really started hitting the clubs, the DJ's used to play alot of Industrial/Dark New Wave (Front 242, Nitzer Ebb, Ministry, Skinny Puppy, etc.) - at the underground clubs. Then the music started changing. This is one of those tracks that started to build a bridge between the old and the new (Techno/House.) A blend of Industrial sounds, techno beats and samples. This is a record I would never sell or trade. Other releases similar to this would be early releases on Boy records, Voyou - Houseman, Microchip League - New York.
