This was truly a seminal release. Nothing else around at the time sounded like it. It is hard to remember now, after all these years of techno and electronic dance music, how innovative this sounded.

imagine releasing a trance records in 1989...these guys at warp did it and already showed what they´d be avouching for in the future...always being a bit ahead of it. nice work!

Nobody could suspect what wlill happen after starting this new label from Sheffield with this release and what big influence Warp will have in the future on popular music. LFO, Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Boards Of Canada, Autechre, Black Dog/Plaid, Nightmares On Wax, Richard H. Kirk - the world order in music is not the same since 1989...
