With this limited edition (and immediately deleted) 10" vinyl, Forseti became a cult name in the at the time growing neofolk scene. Andreas Ritter did set the prototype of the perfect German neofolk: entirely acoustic, melancholic and haunting, with sweet and gentle vocals that for once gave back to the German language its poetic dignity (no "Adolfish" declamations here). Not by chance, Forseti comes from Thüringen, the region where Weimar (the city of Goethe, Schiller and lots of other German poets and intellectuals) is located.
Get the CD reissue of this precious gem if you want to experience this style of music at its best. Once you have it, forget about any following Forseti release and the rest of German neofolk (with few exceptions).
