Frankie Knuckles ‎– Rain Falls

This is a true house classic of early Def Mix team. Original music was written by Satoshi Tomiie. But David Morales made the track shiny with his incredible remixing skill. His "12" Soakin' Wet Mix" was one of the best mixes by Morales so far.

The only thing I regret is that this CD contains merely two tracks. "Radio Mix" is the edit of "12" Soakin' Wet Mix". Dub mixes such as "Wet Me Dub" and "Stormy Dub" are also classic mixes.

In this promo the Underground Solution remix is diffrent from the normal commertial 12" this version is longer, and has diffrent breakdowns , This is the good one in my opinion. as mentiones a great piece of promo pack, If you have the original try get this promo plus as mentioned in the first comment, There are unreleased remixes that just can be found here

Probably one of the best Morales remix ever, with an incredible introduction on the 12" Soakin' Wet Mix.
This double pack presents two Morales/Peter Ski Schwartz dubs not released on the official 12''.
It's a must to have for Morales 'Classic Garage' lovers.

I absoloutley adore this track. If ever there were an example of a lost House Classic, this has to be it. While Frankie Knuckles other productions from this period (aka Your Love, The Whistle Song) seem to get much more attention on the whole, Rain Falls is right up there with the very best of them. Soakin' Wet Mix provided by David Morales is easily my favourite of the mixes. Building up from some rhythmic ambient city sounds into that wonderful downtempo piano break and then eventually building up to the Knuckles-defining vocal house stormer it is. This track has it all - including a rather deep and sexy dub section.

Rain Falls is, to me, a truly outstanding Def Mix classic that was sadly a victim of it's own stablemates - left behind as it's artists more famous track swept the globe. Still well worth tracking down if you love the house classics of this era, and an absoloute essential if your a fan of the almighty Frankie Knuckles and David Morales.
