Quite commercial, this mix can still be considered as "funky house music" due to the funky flute (which I don't know if it's a Full Intention's creation or a sample taken from somewhere else). But it's more club-oriented blend.
The basics remain pure disco: A female vocalist repeats all the time "it's set to groove", certainly taken from the the 1980 song "it's just a groove" of Glen Adams Affair. As for the background music (yes it's the music that comes and goes, not the vocals), it's Giorgio Moroder's "The Chase", theme from the film "Midnight Express".
Thank you Full Intention for spreading the disco sound to the younger generation.
