Reviews & Discussion

Rated 5/5
Review by JimenezJ Jul 23, 2005 (edited over 4 years ago)
Those who have heard this mix often compare it to the Jeff Mills' "Live at the Liquid Room, Tokyo" mix arguing which mix is better. Personally, I liked this one more for better song arrangment (there are many of the same songs on both mixes and both were made in 1995).

Plus, the sound quality is way better as well (although Jeff recorded his in a club, Fumiya recorded his live at a studio... no digital edits of any sort were done to it though).

Both do a lot of layering and many fancy tricks as well (backspins, etc...) but like I said before, I liked the way Fumiya Tanaka put it all together. I recommend a listen or two if you can get a hold of of this CD.
