Holy $%&@!!! This one is hot! The Ramirez remix is the shining star on this release. Not a true breaks beast, a housey hybrid with fantastic beats, crisp electronics and warm synths. A great build into the track, yet another nice build in the break (no 2 minute overkill here), a choice piece of wax all around. A nice hybrid of prog, tech, and breaks. A nice place to be, as this one illustrates.
The flip side features a straight, darkish breaks mix by ILS, laden with heavily filtered vocal samples and a nice delivery all around. The Dogmatix mix is a retro-electro track with full vocals delivered with a hip-hop style.
Hopefully the Ramirez mix will resurface on another release, as this is a UK only promo in anticipation of FFS's fothcoming full length release. Well worth the hunt to find it.
