Incredible techno record, 'Quo Vardis' was made in 1994, released 95, and even if you can feel the influences of Maurizio and DBX here, G-Man's music is more techy and dancefloor focused (that amazing acid line buildt on top!) and this is probably a genre-defining record, one of the songs that invented minimal-house as we know it (together with some Schatrax, Peter Ford and Thomas Melchior productions from that era). Already one half of LFO, Gez Varley definitely proves with this record (and the amazing followers G-Man II and the Kushti album) that he can be a genius! Works every time, one of my all-time top10 techno records.
