A beautiful album and one which has remained on my playlist ever since its initial release. Special mention must go to track 7, which at almost 15 minutes long is truly incredible. Like all the GAS tracks, this one is based on a single loop which is sustained for the entirety of the track, with subtle nuances which develop and shift as it progresses. Good repetition in music is a very difficult thing to achieve, since it is very easy to drift off and lose interest. But the driving bassdrum and incredible atmosphere will keep you absorbed from start to finish. Exceptional.

I would say this is the most impressive album ever. Its inexhaustible originality is just indescribable. This guy definetly has something unique in his sound. Second track by far is the strangest musical piece I've ever heard. Ultimate soundtrack to reality. MUST-LISTEN-TO !

This is one of the most haunting pieces of music I've heard. I'm not sure what my exact feelings are, but the previous reviewer is quite right - it puts you into sort of a dreamlike state. The music is quite peaceful, yet totally alien and emotionally ambiguous at the same time. I could interpret this as pleasantly blissful or eerily haunting depending on my state of mind, and that is a very unique quality.
gorgeous minimal loveliness. sexy cover too. it might seem that there's nothing going on, that might even be the point, yet it hard not to be affected by this music. wolfgang voigt at his best. autechre mix on his mike ink release "polka trax" on warp is a fine one too.
