Best Los Hermanos record IMHO. The basic track of "Resurrection" is actually quite straightfoward, very percussive, yet subtle. It builds up quite fast, and after about one and a half minutes a very warm string sound plays a simple, wonderful melody that opens up more and more, but never too much. It always manages to bring tears to my eyes when I hear it (even when I just think of it). This sequence is later accompanied by an equally subtle melody which underlines its incredible beauty. The arrangement in its simplicity is just amazing, one sequence segues into another flawlessly. There is no big break, no big tricks, no "constructed climax", because the track simply doesn't need it. In fact, it would destroy it. Subtle (yet huge!) euphoria. Thumbs up for Gerald Mitchell, a true master.
