A thousand nights is the only modern trance record (that I am aware of) that I realy really like. It could be described as a minimal, steadily building trance record. I can't fit in anywhere in a set, but the record itself is so very good. Only a few old (10-15 + years) child-memory-related releases equal this one. Very nice.
but "A Thousand Nights" reminds me way to much of Booka Shade's 2005 classic "Mandarine Girl". I wonder if other people have already realized this, too?
I just compared both tracks and the synth's build up so similarly, can't believe Tresher didn't do this on purpose.
Would have been a nice track, a bit too repetive for me, but with these obvious parallels, no respect for this one. maybe it would have worked better if there had been more time between the release dates...
