Gui Boratto ‎– Sozinho

I'm a huge Boratto fan. I have all of his work digitally. I started spinning his music first on Technics SLDZ1200's which are CD-J's. Undoubtedly, Boratto is one of the best in the electronic scene right now. I started to insert vinyl into my set recently due to the influence my friend Thomas had on me regarding the quality of sound they possess in comparison to compressed CD or digital files.

Sozinho may be the sickest track that I have heard all year. This track has all the elements that make a sick track for me: ill beat, syncopated melting bleepy ridims, single note saw-tooth bass lines, a fat change half-way through . . . it just works in every way. I think Sozinho is the Physical Fraction of 2006 . . . I feel all giddy like the first time I heard that track at the beginning of 2005. Gui Boratto is a hot producer. Very hot.
