The highly sort after Especial Records release their debut 12" in Europe. The label is run by Yoshihiro Okino of the Kyoto Jazz Massive and Sleepwalker, i.e. quality. The Japanese original has apparently attracted bids of £30 on eBay. I wasn't too impressed the first time I heard it which just goes to show how wrong you can be. It could have been that Jimpster's version is a bit too Disco or Fauna Flash's mix is a bit too House but give the original version another listen. Spacey keys bongos and Rhodes all building to a jazzy climax. Very clean. ‘Secret Flight' is worth the price of the 12” on it's own. Lovely piano riff bongo Rio samba. Great sleeve design. It's essential.
