"There have been a handful of complaints about "skips" on the 1st and 4th track of the Synthesist LP. While vinyl is a finicky format to begin with, the complaints were enough for us to go back to the our faithful manufacturer, Brooklyn Phono, and examine the plates.
Under the microscope, we found certain grooves of the tracks in question on the a-side are "kissing", and might cause some needles to derail. Fortunately, this won't effect our entire customer base. We do encourage those who are experiencing skips to contact us for a replacement copy."
