The catalog numbers etched into the vinyl read as
HK-UK-006 on each record. However, the labels have different numbers printed on them. Disc 1 has
LHKDJ 01, while Disc 2 has
LHKDJ 02.
Although Hardkiss Music and the Hardkiss 'brothers' only used the artist name Hardkiss for collective releases, i.e., where all three members were involved (Scott Hardkiss, Gavin Hardkiss and Robbie Hardkiss) the actual artist behind this particular release is
God Within (aka
Scott Hardkiss). And the record is, in fact, no different from the US version of God Within's "
The Phoenix". To promote the record Hardkiss sent a few of these test pressings over (with the Hardkiss UK catalogue number) which L'Attitude then printed labels for. In the process they not only changed the catalogue numbers but even the artist name! This was for financial reasons because while the name Hardkiss was becoming well-known at the time, God Within, specifically, was not. Along with the fact that there were other legal issues around L'Attitude's release of their version of the classic Hardkiss album Delusions Of Grandeur this resulted in a fairly large transatlantic legal battle.
