The first cd starts off with 0001. It has some really soft, calm static breaks (actually not really breaks, more like crackles/pops/synths) and slowly the VERY calming atmospheres come in. It never bores. I could listen to this endlessly without getting bored.
However, 0002 is a track also that cant be missed! Its somewhat harder and faster than 0001 but it follows the same princip: beats with deep atmospheres.
0003 is again harder with some distortion aswell. As we get into the cd (with various sound techniques, yes Hecq's showing what he's capable of!) we get past 0007 with its cool stabbing synths and beats, trough 0008 with its cool vocal edits and wonderfull atmosphere to 0010 with cool vocals.
0011 however is a track in his "new" style (which will later occur on Night Falls): it's pure ambient and very chilling. I love it.
0012 has hard glitchy beats (if you observe them you will notice that it has countless layers which vary every beat) and ends with one of the most beautifull pads I have ever heard. Wonderfull!
To keep it short, CD1 is well worth the money allready. The other tracks are all unique and totally "Hecq" style. All to be loved!
The second cd contains remixes and collaborations. I don't want to get into deep analysis on those, but I like them all for their different styles but still maintaining a little touch of Hecq.
However the last track, Dayout, is also one of the best tracks on the release, with its great buildup and lovely sounds.
To add: the tracks flow perfectly into eachother, a little mixing has been done.
10/10 for this album!!
