Caesura sees Helios return to the instrumental, downtempo ambience that made his first 2 albums such an experience. Keith's previous effort in 2006, Ayres, was quite the departure from his norm with the inclusion of vocals. Whether it was just something he wanted to get out of his system or a trend that he will continue eventually remains uncertain. Caesura has no vocals but instead the album has much more of a experimental nature then previous Helios material. Several tracks contain a electronic fuzz while others lean towards a darker sound then anything he's done before. Helios continues to release quality music. My only complaint: too short!
