From my understanding Bullet In The Bed is mastered/cut in Mono. I believe this is why most listeners tend to freak out over the track. It is a gem of Techno work, not sure if it would be any more better if it were in Stereo, but queing in Mono can lead to some difficulties in mixing perhaps. None the less Henrik B continues to reign as one of the top men in Techno.
Although this comment fits to this release as well, I actually ment Henrik B's February on Countdown 2000. Sorry, I mixed them up, cause I bought them nearly at the same time!
Nevertheless, this one's great techno, but not at peak-level, cause the mastering seems to be less good (at least on my copy which has low volume) and the tracks are not as innovative/individual as his Countdown-release.
Forward pushing techno at peak-level. One track featuring merciless Grooves supported by two amazing breaks lifting the tension to highest levels. Another is a masterpiece in monotone but kicking music, its synth-signal directly effecting your neurons. Oh, what a bullet!!!
