Probably on of the finest, deepest rawest pieces of minimal funky house ever made. I bought this in 1996 and have been playing ever since in fact I have 2 copies in case one wears out.
The bassline is so satisfying that if played on a good system I have seen tears of joy...One of my all time favorite pieces of Herbert genius. Only "I'm thinking of You" from the first album reaches this level of deep minimal funkiness. 5 stars all the way.

'Take Me Back' is still one of Herbert's finest moment, a gritty naughty hypnotic house piece in which a filthy livingdead-like voice implores to 'take back/take me back' over a phat compressed kick, and metronomic yet mega swinging beat. Absolutely mental record.
