Hi-Ryze's single full length release on GPR is a forgotten classic and a masterpiece of minimalistc IDM with a twist...
There's plenty of high-energy, pulsating tracks that flow from the off with excellent melodies, beats and chords to solidify the expetly crafted tracks on show here... The album evokes feelings of an epic sci-fi movie soundtrack and has real gravitas...
If you're at all into the GPR/IDM sound you are sure to love this, so grab it today...
Wow. Just picked up another copy of this after misplacing mine around ten years ago. How could I have forgotten it?
An excellent release from David Campbell who gave us Ubik in the early 90's.
Undeniably as Ubik David Campbell produced some clasic UK techno tracks but with this release he stepped up a level to pruduce some highly listenable music.
The influence of the bass and bleeps that defined the UK scene for so long is definately evident here, yet in a much more mature sound.
Long dubby intros leading to quality UK techno tracks with definate detroit influences and quality production make this album a pleasure from start to finish.
