Reviews & Discussion

Review by jonathan_armstrong Jan 02, 2005 (edited over 4 years ago)
This gets my vote as the absolute top release I have heard in 2004. "Glitchy" doesn't really do this record service - it's just downright bizarre! Yet there is this underlying funkiness to the whole thing I find very appealing.

Can't wait for more from the Hieroglyphic Being.

One of the strongest Spectral releases so far. This is a brilliant marriage of the modern 'glitch' style and the classic sounds of chicago house and detroit techno.

brilliant release which sets itself way off the mainstream of the current techno/house scene. influenced by early chicago and detroit music but definately has its own flavour. full of idiosyncratic sounds, thundering drums and wierd harmonies.
