Sharkey's mix is excellent, floorless mixing of an excellent track selection, and lots of dj trickery that ive not heard anywhere else. A lot of this cd is generally unclassifyable dance, it has the speed of hardcore but the feel of a combination of trance, hard house, hard acid, and a heap of dirty breaks. i give it an 8

Scott Browns whole mix is superb, not one dull moment. He somehow has a way of inventing new styles, fully knowing that the hardcore masses will go crazy over it. The hard gabba at the end makes it a great progressive party cd, if your friends can handle it.

Hixxy's mix i have listened to twice and will probably never again.

This latest Bonkers release features 3 discs, mixed by Hixxy, Sharkey, and Scott Brown. Each one has its own flavor and all are extremely quality all the way through. This set does not disappoint to what we have come to expect from the Bonkers series.

Hixxy's disc is filled with positives tunes that could be considered on the more 'happy' side of the set. It includes more vocals than the other mixes - sort of what we have come to expect from Hixxy over the years. A few standout tracks are Breeze & Styles "Drop The Beats", Adam Harris' "Heaven's Above", and Darren Styles "Takin' Me Higher", yet there is not one track that is less than superb in my opinion.
Sharkey's disc is on the 'harder-core' side of things, and has a bit of a trance feeling in certain parts. I found this disc to have a very 'Sci-fi' nature to it - although that's not too uncommon for Sharkey's work. Quite a bit more fast paced, and a lot less vocals, this disc rocks hard. My favorite tracks are CSLM's "John Peel", K-Complex "Cyberspace", and Devastate "Crowd Noise".
On to Scott Brown's mix, where his familiar style of hardcore shows how powerful it can be. I would call this almost as much of a Hard Dance disc as I would Hardcore. Sort of a dark and sinister feeling follows this CD all the way through as well. It starts off with his own track, "Prince Of Darkness", and as soon as it kicks into full gear, the energy does not leave the cd player. The last few tracks are mixed with some gabber thrown in there, and although I personally have a hard time listening to too much gabber, these ones rock! In the end, I would say this disc is just as good as Hixxy's and Sharkey's, if not the best of the three. Close call though and I realize it comes down to personal preference in Hardcore/Happy Hardcore in the end.

Overall, this is a definite 'hit' in the Bonkers series, and any fans of the series need to pick it up quickly. Final rating = 90/100.
