I agree with what Doogee said here. The first set is absolutely mindblowing, while the others are "meh" at best.

Hixxy's old skool mix... What to say about it? It's great! Starts off Bangin' and keeps Bangin' all the way through. Spot on mixing, and some really great tracks throughout, although especially in the center, with tracks such as Wham Bam and Get It Right.

As usual, Sharkey's mix is mixed well, but few tracks really stand out. Really, the only track that I can safely say was great was "London Helsinki Underground (K Complex Remix)." Otherwise, nothing really stood out to me here.

Scott Brown does his thing. Some of his own tracks in the beginning, and some gabber in the end. "The Prophecy Unfolds (Tha Playah Remix)" is not a good track. When I heard it on Best of Bonkers, it basically ruined the mood. It's not scary, it's not banging, it sounds pretty bad actually, since the kickdrum isn't punchy at all. I don't get why he rinses it so much. Either way, his mix is forgettable.

CD4 seems to be the same type of thing: Dougal playing stuff from him and his buddies' labels. That's basically what the bonkers CDs have become.

Hixxy's mix is the only worth listening to, and it's absolutely wonderful. The rest? Forgettable. Should you buy it? While it does have the best old skool mix I've heard on the bonkers series thus far, you can pick up Best of Bonkers and get two GOOD CDs with a good old skool mix, rather than a great CD and 3 bad CDs.

Opposite of what most have been saying about this Bonkers release, I think it is very good. Hixxy's mix starts slow, but picks up and keeps a good pace. Pretty much a fun little trip through some old skool fun. Sharkey's mix is... unbelievable... a none stop rampage. Flawless mixing and an amazing track selection... it just flows so well... and is so well executed. Scott Browns mix is actually very good. It may follow his usual mixing style, but the track selection is good and left me plenty satisfied. Maybe not amazed, but satisfied. Dougal's set is also... unbelievable. Totally ridiculously happy. Endless good songs, and flawless mixing. Lots of fun. Bonkers 13 is defiantly worth getting your hands on, unlike what has been said. Hixxy and Scott Brown deliver... while Sharkey and Dougal blow your mind!

Mediocrity at best, though Sharkey's and Dougal's mix are quite billiant, Scott Brown's style is starting to get a little boring. Cookie cutter beats and bad track selection plague his mix. Hixxy's mix is an old skool set, which i am not even going to talk about, because frankly it bores me. Sharkey's mix on the other hand is amazing, up until now Sharkey's style has been simply growing, now i believe it has peaked. Tracks like "London-Helsinki Underground", "Hardcore Revolution" and "Chemicals In Motion" make buying this entire mix worth while. Dougal's mix is just as good, and is by far the "happiest" of all the mixes. Some of the standout tracks include "Be Happy" and "Get Hype". I would recommend this CD to those who are new to the genre. Veterans will simply get tired.

Hixxy's oldskool mix is definately worth a listen, the rest is really getting a bit tired, particularly Scott Brown, his cutter cutter style is really getting boring. Even in his mixing it's the same old thing: start happy, end gabber. Scott needs to lift his game, and we need more oldskool sets!

As usual, the oldskool is skooling the new skool :-/
