'Being Boiled' is a great example of Electro in its post Kraftwerk, pre-Funk era. It was these 'ere sounds that became the blueprint for what Afrika Bambattaa and Newclus later relaunched with a new face, literally. Today, we don't think much of the plodding analogue bass line and the tinny snares that made the track what it is, but for the early 80s, this was realised science fiction for the music industry.
