The words at the end of "South" are spoken by Holly Hunter in the film "The Piano" by Jane Campion:

"At night! I think of my piano in its ocean grave, and sometimes of myself floating above it. Down there everything is so still and silent that it lulls me to sleep.
...
There is a silence where hath been no sound /
There is a silence where no sound may be /
In the cold grave, under the deep deep sea."

Again, the last three verses are taken from the poem "Silence" by Thomas Hood (1799-1845).

While Humate's remix is okay, it's Rabbit in the Moon's Opium Den mix that really shines. RITM turn the song into a stomping progressive house monster complete with Lisa Gerrard sample and a RITM style lunatic breakdown. This is the version featured on Sasha & John Digweed's Northern Exposure. While I give both remixes thumbs up, I still personally prefer the original mix to either.

The Humate version of this track is okay, but what you really want is the RITM version. It plods along quite nicely, then it gets nicer still and then there's the breakdown. I'm quite a down to earth guy, but the breakdown can only be described as mental. And that's mental in a good way. Improve your life and find this record. Shivers down your spine guaranteed.
