EPIC. What more can you say about this seminal tune which comes from the Debut Album 'Wide Angle'. It's a definitive classic and to top it off the Echoplex remix is an amazingly produced rework which certainly does the original justice with it's flowing, echoing vibes.

Hybrid's inimitable ability to blend classical with breakbeat and dance music genres (in my opinion at least) has never been matched by this unique and timeless piece of music that will rightfully be listened to over and over again by generations of vinyl junkies.

I love this record, it is the first record I ever bought and I will own it until I die...

First heard this on Ministry magazine's Award winners 99, and OMG it opened my eyes to this type of music.

If you haven't heard it, and I feel very contrived for saying this, Finished Symphony is an epic journey of a track! Although strictly breaks I think this epitomises progressive dance music in that it starts in one place and finishes in a totally different one.

I'm sorry but I can't find something special on this release more than it has real orchestral music. It's a good idea but the result doesn't make me feel anything.

The strings are boring after the second loop, the breaks are good but nothing special and the synths go almost unnoticed. A nice vocoder fx here, a gattered arp and that's all ...

IMHO this is another release like the hundreds you can listen to each month ...

Honestly this track is a masterpiece. Ever since i first heard it on Gatecrasher - Wet I've been i love with it. the way breaks is infused with classical strings is just insane. If you get a chance get it!

I owe most, no, all of tribute I can give to this tune because it is what interested me in music. Not just electronic music, but music period. For those who have not heard (WOW! how can you not have?!), hear it now, please. It's well known for it's string lead, which is playing in my head right now. And now through my speakers. If you hear this and like it, give the original Hybrid - Symphony a listen as well. It has a few different synths and is even longer.

Hybrid made a good one, here.

"Finished Symphony" is perhaps best known in the UK as the theme music for BBC TV's boxing coverage.
